Napa Steering gearbox?

Can anyone confirm that the Napa PN - NSP 88278167 works for the diesels?
Part is listed as gas motor. Napa says they don't carry one for diesels, but have seen on here that some have used Napa steering boxes.
Also the Pump PN - NSP 81819?
Thanks

can't help you with the napa part #'s but i have been down that road replacing my gear box and these guys at red head steering are awesome. I think their gearboxes are better than factory with oversized bearings and with the core exchange it is a reasonable price.

I could probably tell you in the next day or two...I just ordered a NAPA gear box for mine. It's here but I haven't picked it up yet. They told me that there is only one listing for the 3500 and not specifically for the diesel. I guess when I put it in, either it will fit or it won't.

Thanks for the help. Yes the Napa parts work. Steering box PN is 88278167, pump PN is 81819. Both lifetime warranty and $150 for the box and $50 for the pump.
I told the shop which Napa parts I wanted and they insisted the box was only for a gasser. I verified with Napa that they were allthe same (at least 06-08 gas or diesel, 2500 and 3500, is what they showed, pretty sure 09's are the same not sure about older models, didn't they switch to AAM axles in 06")
No time to do it myself or to order a Redhead box, the shop charged me 3-1/2hrs labor....not bad.
