Hey guys, I'm working on a 92 W250 and found a crack in the steering box mounting bracket, no surprise. Call up Dodge like many times before, only this time they tell me that bracket is now obsolete and there are none around. Has anyone found an aftermarket source for this part?

Some dealers will still have the parts and I'm sure they will ship them as most dealers do. Just call around to different dealers (in state or out of state) and keep asking. Surely there has to be one somewhere.

If you don't have the part number already I'm pretty sure it is Part # 52037876

 

My dealer got me one for $16 just a few months ago but he is good about getting N.O.S. stuff from other dealers.
Maybe this guy isn't doing everything he can to find you one andyou should try calling another dealer or two ?

 

My dealer did a search and came up with one in Pennsylvania, so I'm assuming there is nothing closer. I trust these guys and they have always gone the extra mile to be helpful. We'll have to decide what to do. Thanks for the replies.
