My Truck is Possessed!

I think I need to perform a exorcism on my truck. So Thursday I drove my truck to work like I normally do and every thing was fine. Yesterday I rode to work with my brother and when we got back to his house I noticed that my truck was pushed up into some stuff in front of his garage. I thought to myself thats odd.... I didn't park like that. So when I got in it to start it up the batteries were completely dead. I hooked the jumper cables up to my truck and then to my brothers. As I was walking back to get in my truck, the batteries had started to charge and the engine was trying to turn over. Since it is a 6-speed I normally just leave it in gear and forget about the parking brake (looking back this is not a good idea). As the engine is trying to turn over it is trying to move forward into the stuff in front of the garage (that explains part of my problem) causing the jumper cables to come unhooked. My brother hooked the jumper cables back up and once again the batteries started to charge and the truck started to try and turn over. I grabbed the keys (that were in the ignition in the OFF positon) and pulled them out. The stupid thing kept trying to a turn over with NO keys in the ignition!!!!!! So my brother hurried up and unhooked the jumper cables and then we started looking at what the heck was going on. I noticed the batteries were warm and something smelled like it was burning so I unhooked both batteries. We got underneath the truck and looked at the starter. The negative lead was all burnt up (well i figured out the burnt smell). By this time I was mad, it was dark and raining, and I was ready to go home. So today I started to investigate what the heck happened the only thing I can see and think happened is 1.) Demon's have taken over the truck or more realistic 2.) The negative lead was rubbing up against the solenoid (that I assume is a constant positive) and chafed the plastic coating to complete the circuit thus engaging the starter. I changed the starter this morning and put 2 new batteries in it and so far the darn thing hasn't tried to start on its own. If anybody has ever had this happen or has a better idea of what might have happened I am open for comments.

It sounds more like the starter relay is defective, causing power to flow to the starter without turning the key.
