My G56 leaking from bellhousing area

I'll start off by saying I just had a minor surgery today and I can't crawl under the truck to see exactly where.

When I got home my wife saw a spot on the driveway and the SIL crawled under to take a pic with her phone. She took a pic of the oil pan and bellhousing area and also wiped the fluid that is of course pinkish.
It will be a few days before I can crawl under to look closer but could it be the seal on the input shaft? Is there any other seals in there? Could the fluid get on the clutch in any way? ( and ruin the disc)
Any suggestions or exploded views of the trans would be appreciated!

I remember reading a post a couple years ago about this. The coolant in these trucks is a reddish color and there is a small coolant line above the bell housing area that starts leaking, possibly from a crack in the line. This is the most likely cause of your leak, I've seen this come up a couple times in various forums.

It is coolant leaking. This sure beats dropping the trans!!

My movement is still limited for a while so I can't look around the engine compartment very well. I do know there are a couple hoses back in that area. does anyone have a good description of which one it usually is?
In the meantime I will search for that thread.

Every time someone posts about this, it is always an 06 truck.

Snugging down those clamps cured mine. Others have upgraded to the revised part/improved hose.

Yup. My buddy came over today to help me look at it and sure enough we saw it drip! Tightened the two clamps and looks like all is good now.
