I don't know if this makes any sense whatsoever, but on a 4wd truck, if i'm running 99% of the time freeway, could i take off the front driveshaft and net me some more mpg. i know it turns but would it make any difference? or am i just nuts

 

that is why we have the dynatrac, it did not help the milage enough to to justify the cost but the 2 wheel drive low reverse is worth it

 

The prices are terrible I paid 3.95 a gallon this weekend. But I must say with my mods I am happy with the mpg, I get 16 if I hammer on it and if I drive like grandpa I can get 18 around town and 19 on the interstate keeping it 65 or less. Jay
