Definitely get your rig checked out- your engine should start in extremely cold weather. Even in the yearly pamphlets on the Dodge trucks it mentions great cold weather starting ability, -29C unaided...

yeah, I am gonna see what this howes stuff does, then if that doesnt change anything, gonna have to check the heating grids, and pray that thats the answer. I cant believe that injectors would be the issue if the truck runs fine once started, and fine if plugged in.

Hey, it may be a small thing to check but try upping your cetane- mine starts a little harder in cold weather without some cetane. Could be the Rokktech I guess. Give it a try.

If it's the grid heaters, I wouldn't be trying to start it. If they are working, your lights will go dim for a second, then back to normal. They'll keep doing that in cold, sub-zero weather until the truck is warmed up.

the thermostat you have, is it setup through an autostart feature? I have heard about some of those through some buddies who work the slope.

Hello .....
I got this thermostat few years back, saw the box it came in while back under the house. Its tied to the heater hose and monitors the water temp. Nothing to do with autostart.

On the Howes try the Meaner Kleaner...
