Instead of spending the money on a RokkTech sensor, which is only a machined factory OEM sensor, I machined one myself, since i work in a machine shop. Problem is now my brother wants one... Anyway, I have an extra OEM sensor that I can modify, but he has a 2004.5 model. Everything I can find says that they are two different part numbers for the 2004-2005 and 2006-2007. Is this true? I was going to modify my stock one and give it to him, but not sure if it will work, anyone know? the sensor for the 2004-2005 is 40 bucks where the 2006-2007 is 20.
