In my case, neither truck sounded any different. The idle in both is still around 700-750. We are both running Winter Diesel #2.
Neither "white smokes" at all.
Your build date is less than a month before mine. Same rear end, but my drive train is box-stock, except for the wheels.

I have no regrets and give this TSB a Big Thumbs-Up.

Here is a link to the TSB via K. Lengers website (thanks Ken!), check it to ensure your motor falls with-in the serial # and engine build dates. The TSB is for white smoke at start-up, improvement for poor fuel economy and OTC recalibration.

The reflash really worked for my truck. The pinging went away and fuel econ went up. Hope you get it ironed out.

If so, has anyone else who had this TSB performed and had the pinging/knocking noise noticed its absence after the TSB?
Thanks in advance.

By the way keep the responses rolling in for the pinging issue!

I went in today to have the reflash doen and they told me it was not available for the 05's yet. However they did enable the high idle but it only goes up one time to 1200rpm is this normal?

From the TSB 18-004-04, which is incorporated into TSB 18-037-04 (http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2004/18-004-04.htm)
"...Once enabled the feature operates as follows:
With the vehicle stationary and the gearshift lever in Park or Neutral, press the speed control “ON/OFF” switch to the “ON” position.
Press the “SET” switch. The engine speed will automatically increase to 1100 rpm.
The engine speed may be increased up to a maximum of 1500 rpm by pressing and holding the “ACCEL” switch.
The engine speed can be lowered down to 1100 rpm by pressing and holding the “COAST” switch ."...
So try this procedure.
