anyone know the micron rating on the fleetguard lf3972? and is there a better one to use? thanks

 

Micron rating? No...don't have it. You might call fleetguard: 800 22-FILTER

The FS19856 is the 7 micron stock filterhousing kind. I belive the one you are referencing is the 10 micron version.

 

I believe that's a fuel filter, i'm looking for specs on an oil filter. my oil analysis form asks what micron rating i am using on the filter, i dont know it, but i assume i need to put it on the form to be accurate

 

Oops, sorry about that!! Your right it was the fuel. I use the LF 16035 Oil filter from fleetguard and have always had excellent UOA's. I have NO IDEA what the micron rating is.
