Mega Cab driveline question.

I have a 06 Mega Cab 2500 4wd.
I was under the truck today checking fluids and I noticed that the driveline will move around in the carrier bearing. If you grab the driveshaft and move it side to side. At least I think its a carrier bearing. Its a black rubber mount that the driveshaft passes through.
Is this normal?
I would think all that flexing would cause a lot of vibration and wear.
Any input is appreciated.

I highly doubt there is anything broken. My 99 does the same, at least it should be doing it but I dont know 3rd gens, but I'm pretty sure it's normal.

It's normal. If the carrier bearing goes bad, it will start clunking. There needs to be a little play. the axle and pumpkin are not static. As the axle moves the carrier bearing helps the driveshaft adjust to changing angles, driveshaft extension etc.
