Mine is a 2005. Its had it from the start with CC.

The 03's can have the idle up feature activated with a BDTD. I wonder if any of the Bully dog products for the 2nd gens would give it back to you?

Be interesting to hear if the TSB's are still valid.

LMFAO!!! That's where I bought my truck if you be talking Idaho.

I had to tell them about the idle up feature on the manuals and how to activate it. Not to mention explaining to the salesmen the 48RE is NOT made by Allison and its NOT a 5 speed. Good times!

A couple of the salesmen used to call me periodically and ask me questions about the trucks when they didn't know.

About a month after I bought the truck I stopped by to shoot the breeze. Mentioned to the salesman that sold me the truck that it was broke. He immediately got the sales manager and they wanted to know the problem. I told them it had to be broke cuz it was getting 22 mpg running back and forth to Lewiston.

I think they took my name in vain after I left. No better or worse than most of them in my experience.

Moved to Georgia in 2008. Spent 9 years in MH and Boise working for IT companies till the economy went sour.

ahh ok! ya when i tried the first time, i had to explain what a high idle was, and what it was good for. practically had to force the tech to do a lil research... so as of right now i have the automatic high idle, and if its really cold(only heard it kick in once) the 3 cylinder high idle....

Huh? Offhand I would say he pulled the wrong TSB. I would print them out and take them with you if you are interested in pursuing it. It is a generic program thingy, to get all the Dodge functionality activated. Sometimes the semantics get garbled in translation.
