Mag-Hytech Transmission Pan
I found a pretty good deal on the M-H Trans pan on the internet so I went ahead and purchased a double deep model. I wanted to ask ya'll if I should use the cork gasket they sent or the permanent rubber gasket that comes on the truck.

Use the factory rubber...per MH's instructions.
The DD does not help for lower temps; just more cooler fluid to draw from when going stoplight to stoplight. It does help to even out temps in start-stop driving and helps to lower temps faster when shutdown at restaurant or rest stop.

I went with the stock gasket. So far, so good. Thanks everyone. If anyone is interested in the Mag-Hytech, truckcustomizers.com has them for about $250.00 with free shipping.
