My Mag-Hytech tranny pan LEAKS!

I put a Mag pan on my 97 with the included rubber "reusable" gasket, it leaked.

Now, on my 2006, I put a Mag double deep on and it leaks too. (They sent it with the cork gasket).

Do you think I could use the OEM ribbed rubber looking gasket on the Mag pan? Or will it leak worse?

I used the reusable gasket that came on my stock pan with the Mag-Hytec I installed and it has been fine for over a year now.

Same here, I used the reusable gasket that came stock and no leaks for about 15,000 miles.

I just put mine on about a month ago with the stock reuseable gasket and no leaks yet.

cyclone??????? Do you mean silicone? Don't use that just put the stock tranny pan gasket back on. It can be reused several times before needing replacement. You don't want anything getting loose from the pan gasket and getting into the tranny.....

Mine came with an o-ring type gasket already set into the Mag-Hytech pan. Didn't yours all? I tossed the stock rubber reusable gasket. No silicone and it seems like a good seal so far.

Are you sure you are not referring to your rear Diff Cover?

On my MH DD Trans pan, I have used both the Cork and then later the Rubber reuseable gaskets and didn't have a problem with either one leaking.

When I did a trans fluid change (stock pan) I used the supplied gasket that came with the filter. It leaks. I retained the original gasket and will definitely use it when I add my deep pan.

Nope. Definitely the DD trans pan. Just put it on a couple weeks ago so maybe a new feature? Got it from Geno's
