Lost a Map sensor.

I just lost the MAP sensor on my 03. My Juice only wants to read about half of the actual boost and doesn't want to read anything if the actual boost is below 10. I also got a code 107 which points me to what I already know. How much are these to replace? I hope the dealer has one in stock, but I'll bet they have to order one.

Check your sensor for oil film

Hey CG,

I went through a couple on my old 00' CTD, found out it was from my k&n filter, way too much boost from the turbo was pulling the oil off and across my intake system. The MAP sensor wouldn't last long after that. I switched to a dry filter setup after having the cooler cleaned and the lines wiped out. After that never a problem....

If I remember it was about $90 for a new sensor.

Have fun.

Yeah I cleaned out my intercooler after I lost my turbo but I'll bet some oil got to it. I ordered one from cummins for $60 compared to $90 for a mopar.

My new cummins map worked for 5 minutes now I'm back to the same symptoms. I only got up to 35 lbs of boost and it cut away my fuel and put me in safe mode. Now I don't know what to do. I'm not sure if I got a bad sensor or if something else is messed up. Has anybody else had this kind of trouble.
Thanks
CG

Makes me wonder if the problem is with the Edge?

I already pulled it off and now the truck is stuck in limp mode. My diablo shows the boost reading normally so my new sensor is working fine. I may have to take it to a dealer to get it out of limp mode.

I now found the problem. It was barometric pressure sensor on the airbox. The dealer was nice enough to break the connector the one and only time it has been to the dealer for the free oil change, so it had come unplugged justn enough to lose connection. I could have fixed it for free in less than 3 seconds.
