Losing power

Truck is losing power once the temp comes up. Normally runs about 195 but I noticed today after I suddenly lost power my temp was running around 210. I've been searching the site and I guess it could be the fan clutch or possibly the sensor that tells the fan clutch to increase the fan speed. If I shut the engine off and let it cool down I can start it and run under full power until the temp climbs back up and then I start losing power again. The fan always turns when the engine is running but I have been listening and can't determine if it is ever speeding up any. I can spin the fan and it only turns 3 or 4 fan blades then stops, bearings seem to be fine. Anyone with info on how to resolve my problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Oh yea my truck is not throwing any codes neither.

Changed the fan clutch and the thermostat. No change. Probably should have changed the sensor first seeing as it is only $30.00. Will try to pick up a new sensor tomorrow. O'Reilly has a 4 to 5 day wait. I will try the dealer.

Did you check if it's throwing any codes? '05 you can cycle key on/off/on/off/on without starting and it will read codes out on odometer. Don't know what year that feature came about. I think with any OBD II.

I thought you just had to hold the trip reset button while you turn the key on?

I don't have a check engine light on but I will try the on/off trick to see if I have any codes. I'm starting to think it may be my lift pump. I'm gonna change my fuel filter when I get off work. My son drove my truck a few days ago and when I got it back the fuel gauge was as close to the E as you can get it without running it completly out. I put fuel in it and its been doing this ever since. I just don't understand the fact that it runs perfectly normal until the engine comes up to temp. I can drive 65/70 all the way home but I have to take my time getting it there once its up to normal temp. If I put my foot in it the truck just starts hesitating and losing power. I'm going to do a search on how to bleed the air out of the fuel lines you never know it could have a pocket of air trapped. I guess I could have even got some fuel with water in it. I read that the water would make the filter element swell and restrict flow. I only put half a tank in it so its almost time to fuel up again.
