I have an 07 5.9l and looking for an intkae for it. I am not sure which one i want to go with though.
I am loooking at the S&B, AFE whatever models they got.

Whats the best out their. I have searched and read and everyone says pick up the new mag for the test but do nto post results.

I want a complete intake system.... what is best and why? What will i expect from it?

The S&B is a very nice set up but, it's not a whole lot different from the stock box. It comes with a torque tube that connects to the stock 90 at the turbo.
The box is just like the OEM but, with a bigger air hole.

The AFE is very popular and a very good choice..... that is if you don't mind a lot of turbo noise. It will sound like a airplane taking off. It moves tons of air though.

There's also several DIY CAI's that guys here have posted about. You can do a search on them if interested.

You'll definitely want to open up your exhaust too along with a CAI.

I would recommend looking at the AFE or AEM.

i was just out shopping for an intake for my 04 and was told by a local diesel performance shop that the BD intake costs a little more, however it is the only one that eliminates the restriction at the turbo in the 90. I've never been into mine as i jst bought it on tuesday but it sounds good to me.

Check out Amsoil site.
They have a dry type filter that is the same as AFE.
