looking for a fuel pressure gauge for monitering lift pump

Question looking for a fuel pressure gauge for monitering lift pump

i have a 2003 & would like to put in a fuel pressure gauge to moniter the lift pump.i know it is suppose to run in the 4-8psi range is the 15psi gauge enough or should i run the 30psi.i like the autometer stuff but cant find a 30psi in the autometer.

you should get the 30psi because if you ever do upgrade your pump then you will have to get another gauge unless you want to see it maxed out.

i was looking in the factory svc man last night. i was amazed when i saw factory spec was 11.5psi..... i dont think i remember any one posting that hi stk.

as far as the gage, i agree, if plans are to add a aftermarket l/p go with the 30, if plans are to stay stock 15.

I have the autometer electric 100! It's overkill but with my fuel system I can crank it up to 40 psi! So 30's not enough..

Wanna install a fuel pressure gauge as well...

How involved/time consuming is a fuel press. gauge install???
