Hey

Looking at a 06 dodge 3500, quad cab, long box, 6 spd with 42 000 miles.
Truck is in great shape inside and out. Is there any issues that these trucks had during this model year. I know the balljoints/u-joints etc are bad. Did dodge have the injectors fiqured out yet? Can anyone decode the vin for me?
(3D7LX38C36G281598) Truck seems to have a very slight "tick" . I just sold my 93 cummins so this new cummins sound different. I will take a listin to a couple tommorrow to verify. you can only here it on the drivers side at idle while standing at the front of the truck with the hood up. Its not a lifter , not an exaust leak just a very very slight sound. anyone else have this? How so the 6 spds hold up with normal street use/light towing? I noticed a bit of a shudder under hard acceleration from a stop.. not sure if its the diff wanting to lock up or if its a driveline/trans issue. I will be inspecting the truck in the next few days if i decide to buy it. Thanks alot guys
