limited slip

Well the verdict is out , this limited slip is as useless as every other limited slip, When you really need it its not there. Save you breath, (or your key strokes) applying the brakes is no better. One wheel on ice backing up = no go. I think after all these years of progress, thats very poor. The Gleason Thorson rears I had back in the Early 80,s preformed much better. Its better than a open rear though , for acceleration on equal traction ( 1/4 mile runs ) but, its too heavy to go wheelin anyway.

detroit

The detroit lets you know its there every time you turn a corner. Its not pleasant. I tried the lock rite in my 96 , could stand the racket, so I took it out. I did put a air locker in the front dif though, The air locker has performer well. I begged air locker to make one for the Dana 80 , but they never did.

Tell me about it, you get a rear wheel off the ground, forget it. I am also hoping for air lockers to come out.

Nope. The PW have a 10.5" AAM axle.

Only for those with the 10.5 on the rear, otherwise only for the front axle. A selectable locker on the front makes sense for the diesel as it's so nose heavy, but only with light loads.
