Lift pump replacement options??

My truck has almost 100k miles and I'm thinking I should replace the lift pump before it leaves me stranded someplace (seems fine now). Any suggestions for a replacement? I don't need anything more than the stocker. It's not a hot rod, just a daily driver. I'm more interested in reliability and an exact replacement. I don't want to do any extra plumbing or bracket building. I just want to get under the truck and basically unbolt one and bolt in the other.

I just purchased a stock replacement from Geno's Garage. My truck only has 40,000 miles so I thought I would carry it with me, just in case the orginal was to go bad. http://genosgarage.com/

after my stocker died at 20k miles, i ran a bd lift pump on the frame rail(its a carter vane pump) it worked fine for about 15k miles and up to 580 hp, then i could pull it down to 4psi, but i was running a 3 micron in the factory housing.
got a fass, and love it.

so, either fass or airdog.

Why not just install a fuel pressure gauge. Then you will know constantly the condition of th elp and can react right away to any issues as needed. You can also learn to see when the fuel filter needs changing.

Glacier 392. Mine puts out a pretty constant 20 psi. Quiet and reliable...

I change the filter pretty regular and don't need 500hp. I might just go with a stock replacement. Fuel pressure guage is a thought just for the fun factor.
Thanks for the comments.

I have read some threads about installing a holley blue pump between the fuel tank and the stock lift pump. I have not read anything bad about this setup yet and it is pretty in-expensive. I think I am about to try my luck with it and see how it works.

I'm going to use SUMMIT's 140 fp and true, I haven't heard any bad reports on this route either.

It does the same job for about a 1/3 of the cost. Just put on a filter before the fp and then I'm also installing a 2 mc in between the stock filter and cp3 just to clean up more for the inject., I'm using pressure box (MP-8).

I know you wouldn't need extra volume or pressure, but I would still highly recommend a Fass or AD100, mainly for the air and water filtration, it will require doing some plumbing, but will be in easy access and you will gain a lifetime warranty out of it, so if it fails you can save your bucks then. I don't think it will fail for a long time.

Go AD100 if you don't need the fuel, it will save you time on the install by going with the AD100.
