2003 5.9 3500. Truck is giving long start. Lift pump was replace on the fuel filter housing
issues started after replacing lift pump. With key in acc pump sometime runs for 3 to 5 sec. Bump the starter and it will run for 15 sec or so, then stop. Pulled fuel filter out and housing is about 1/3 full. I let the pump run some foam in fuel. If I bump the starter it starts well. Replacement pump is 2 weeks old. I am thinking a bad pump. RP at idle is 5.6 to 6 and at 75 mph is about 13.5 to 14. Any information on this is welcome.
