I walked out to my truck today and noticed a few drops of liquid on the concrete, got under my truck and noticed it was diesel. It looks to be coming from the fuel pump area (the leak is directly below the fuel pump) but I havent gotten a change to really get in there and look at it really close yet. Has anyone had a problem with there fuel pump leaking?

injector pump or the fuel filter canister. the lp is in the tank. i have a slight leak of the line on the fuel filter canister not bad enough to fix yet

 

The leak is too far forward to be my fuel filter canister. I checked it and its dry. Maybe that's what I'm looking at is my injector pump????

 

my injector lines tend to leak a lot. I've had them tightened before and even had one replaced once. I need to tighten them again.

 

Yeap, that is a common problem. The CP3 (injector pump) weaping around the center section due to the seal. If it is under warranty take it in and have it replaced. If not you can rebuild it with a newer seal. A guy on here in 06' did just that. Have to do a search for the part number and where to get it.

 

The only warranty I have left is the cummins 100,000 so I will take it in to get looked at. Thanks everyone for the help!!!!
