Just got straight piped!

and I'm LOVING IT!

I'm new to the site. I posted an intro in the "Other" section but I've been reading for a bit. I finally got the diesel I've been looking for 3 days ago. 04 3500 single rear wheel quad cab 2wd HO. Well, After reading a lil on the site, I did a coupe of cheap/free mods. I removed the turbo silencer the first night (liked it). Tonight, I went to a friend's speed shop and we put the truck on the lift and cut off the muffler, took some 4" pipe and a mandrel bent 4" section and welded up a new section without the muffler. Comes on in front of the rear tire straight cut "shotgun." Everything else is stock (for now) but this thing sounds AWESOME. Everything else is stock like I said so for now, soot isn't an issue on the back wheel. This was just to tide me over until I could get a FULL exhaust but I think we might just run 4" off the turbo like this. I love the look and sound...my neighbors might think otherwise though.

Pics and video coming soon! I just wanted to share and say THANKS!

early model 04 so there is no cat obviously. Its factory 3.5" pipe off the turbo to where the muffler USED to be. Flares out into 4" mandrel bent tubing and out the side! It definetly brought out the sounds alot more.
