Question Intake Removal/ Boost gauge install.

I am needing to take my intake off so I can drill and tap the manifold, but before I do that I want to know if I can just use rtv for a gasket or do I need intake gaskets? any help would be appreciated.

RTV will not hold up well where the elbow or manifold interface with the grid heater. You do not need to drill for a boost gauge, all you need is a boost bolt to replace one of the regular manifold bolts. You can get them from Diesel Manor or Geno's

Diesel Manor - Boost Bolt

Geno's - Boost Adapter

If you buy the boost gauge from Geno's, you get the boost bolt at no cost.....they include it with the gauge.
