injector questions!!

I tried searching but came up with nothing that is quite like the issues that i THINK i am having. I checked my oil the other day because my truck was idling somewhat rough and it was clattering more than usual but nothing crazy. It was 2 quarts high, but my mistake on my last oil change was that i did not check the dipstick ( my mistake i know ). If i let the truck coast up to a stop light and then hit the brakes it doesnt pulse, but if i imediatly step on the brakes after coming off of throttle, at any percentage, the truck will pulse very badly, to the point where it almost stalls and then idles back up. it has the same injector tick that all of my buddys 3rd gen trucks with the 5.9 that have tuners in them so i didnt ever really worry about it. The pulsing problem is steadily getting worse and i am obviously getting concerned about it. I am taking the edge off of it and taking it to the dealership monday, hopefully they wont give me any flack. any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks
ryan

How much oil was put in during change ?
Could be bad injector/s , leaking fuel into crank case , not real uncommon .

A cracked injector could be leaking fuel into the crankcase. Some people carefully lift the valve cover off the engine and can actually see the injector squirting/misting fuel, but not every time is it visible.

If you do lift the valve cover and start the engine, be careful.

You dont want to drive the truck with any diesel fuel in the oil.

I have had both issues - diesel in oil and the stalling problem. Just smell your oil off the dipstick. Thats how I found mine.

Addressing your pulsing -or stalling - you have a bad FCA valve. Its a Fuel Control Accuator (sp?) that is attached to the back of the CP3. Fairly easy replacement. Torx bit- either a 25 or a 30 cant remember - take them off - take off FCA then replace.
