info on tranny

wondering the pros and cons of a 6speed vs auto? either one better for mods?

It depends on the year of truck and what kind of driving habits you have. Autos will always cost more to maintain and mod.

But autos can be modded and the manual shifts more or less limint you to clutch upgrades not transmission.Autos are faster even more so modded.I bet far more techs can work on the autos then eaither one of the six speed manuals.I bet far more of these trucks are converted from manul to auto then the other way around.

That's why I said it depends on ones driving habits. Not everyone hotrods their trucks. If I had it to do over again I would have gotten an NV5600.
