Passed the local Ford dealer today and they had a big trailer out front with Powerchoke painted all over it and a big tent so of course curiousity got the best of me . Every single person under the tent looking at the cutaway engines and what not were eyeballing the big silver Dodge dually when I pulled in ......... might have a lil something to do with that beast under the hood singing through duals which sounds better than any Powerchoke could ever hope for !!! They are being tight lipped about the 6.4 but idiot told me it is in Mexico just won't pass EPA here .......... Ford couldn't be that stupid to invest in an engine that won't even be able to pass emissions would they ? Twin turbos are starting to make since though ,they are just leaning it way out with extra air to sqeak by the EPA , kind of like the on -board brake controller which lets them CLAIM higher gvw's even though the truck can't handle it . Needless to say they were glad when I left .... had to give them a lil smoke show and chirping tires on every gear change as I was leaving !!!!

 

They invested all that money into the V6 version for the F150 and it didnt meet emission standards after it was produced. Something like 20,000 Navistar produced for them and nothing to do with them but collect dust.

For finally built a LCF truck to put them in. You can get the truck with IH's name or Fords on it. They do some wierd stuff over there I tell you
