Idle Speed
AH, I bet your right about the EPA thing but I just can't figure why they only changed the 06.5+. IIRC, the only difference is the canbus on the 06.5s all the other changes in the engine began in 06 and the g56 began in 05. IDK.
Thats why my guess is EPA, my 06 running smarty jr's latest still idles at 750. Maybe the faster idle to lessen the chance of incomplete fuel burn when idling for long periods as well as not clogging up the cat>?
If i could idle my 07' down to 700 or so my sticky solid flywheel clutch would engage much smoother, especially if there was a way to get rid of the "auto fueling" by the truck when the clutch is eased out.
Not to mention the slower idle is much quieter.
Before and after my cam swap, with both trucks sitting next to each other at idle, standing in front you cant hear the '06 for the racket of the 07's engine noise.
how do you obtain this software you speak of that you can adjust the idle? Im guessing its a dealer program thats big $$?

It is only about $500 for the base software and the Chrysler Expansion.
