The $14.00 a gallon stuff: (group III base stock)
Rotella Synthetic
Delo Synthetic
Valvoline Extreme

The $23.00 a gallon stuff (Pure synthetic)
Mobil Delvac 1 (Turbo Diesel Truck retail)
Amsoil

Without getting into the expensive stuff, Delo 400 15-40 is suppose to have the best additive package out there. I use Delvac 1, mostly for the turbo bearings. But I doubt I really need it.

 

I pick up my Blue Extreme right from Cummins. Just under $20 a gallon. The parts guy said it can be shipped to me if I want, but I just love walking into the warehouse and smelling all those brand new engines

 

What Tiaria said. All Cummins shops have it, as it is what they put in new and rebuilt engines along with oil changes.

Schucks/parts America usually carries it. At least they do here, Im not sure if it varies by location but Diesels are rather popular here so they carry a good variety

 

i finally found vpbEXTREME at my local cummins dealer. They wanted 22.00 dollars a gallon but if you bought a case of 4 gallons you get it for 18.00. so i bought the case.

 

Glad you found it Bigfish. If you lived near me in Charlotte, I would sell it to you for less. I feel ashamed to tell you how much I pay for it.
