I just added the Howes Power Kleaner and it brought it right back up to what I had and and plus it cleaned my injectors. The best $9 I spent PERIOD!!!

It looks like it can be bought on-line here. I have not checked shipping rates.

I've been playing around with different additives and so far I feel comfortable in saying Power Kleaner had the best effect on engine noise etc. The engine sounded quieter and felt slightly smoother, like a "well oiled machine".

I can't say what it did for MPG as I didn't measure it.

My question is how often to run the POWER KLEANER?

Do you mix it with Howe's Anti-gel, alternate between the two, only use the power kleaner once in a while....???etc.

I tried calling Howe's to answer this question but never got an answer, not even an machine.

I just dumped in 8oz. howes meaner kleaner and 4oz. of stanadyne PF.I would think you would want a anti-gel and cetane booster to run with the howes.coobie

does it say anything about lube on the bottle? I looked at their web site and it does not mention lube additive. gotta have lube!

I will probably give this stuff a try.

everytime you fill up, USE IT. 4oz=about 32 gallons which is about the size of our fuel tank, which you can see the sizes on the side of the bottle and thats how you know how many ounces you're putting. If I just put $20 in my tank, I also first put like an ounce. ALWAYS PUT THE ADDITIVE BEFORE THE FUEL.

It says on the bottle (Quote)it works like a machine to power clean and lubricate the entire fuel injection system.I figure I will give it a 2 week test and see how it works.I have had great luck with the Stanadyne PF and primrose 405-409 as far as anit-gels and cetane boosters.I am trying the meaner kleaner to see how it works on the slight tick I have.

I think I remember the last time I put $20 in a tank, but it sure wasn't ever in this truck.

BTW, I don't like drawing too much attention to my truck by leaving a BA black cloud behind me when I leave the light. Stanadyne Performance really helps keeping the smoke down in midrange take offs.

Off the bottle:

Cummins L-10 Test Rated "SUPERIOR"

4.8% Improvement in Fuel Economy

65% Reduction in Injector Deposits

35% Increased Lubricity- Injectors, Pumps and upper cylinders

80% Emissions Reduction- Stops the smoking

Eliminates & Controls Contaminants in Fuel

Corrosion inhibitor- Stops Corrosion In Engine Fuel Systems

Fuel Stability- Eliminates Sedimant Formation

Eliminates Water

Also use for Farm and Marine diesels

8 oz treats 60 gallons of fuel

I personally use 8oz per 36 gallons of fuel.
