How to tell if its a SO or HO
I just bought a 04 2500 with the 5.9 and its a auto.How do i no if its a SO or HO and what tranny is in it .Sorry for the dumb ques. but its my first dodge.Thanks

Look on the tag on the valve cover.

305 = HO
235 or 250 = SO
325 = model 2004.5

2004 and up Auto trannys are 48RE.
