how to remove stock sway bar endlinks

how to remove stock sway bar endlinks

i will take any suggestions because i tried last night and it was a no go on the dually

Just replaced one of mine. Shot it up with some penetrating oil the night before and let it sit. Jack it up, first under the axle to loosen lug nuts; block up axle; then jack up under the frame to take the load off the suspension. Mine loosened right up. Good luck, and be careful.

The endlinks come off in a few minutes with a couple of wrenches - no jacking required.

correct- no need to jack the vehicle- will be easier if you loosen the sway bar frame mount bushings,also. i just replaced mine also- all i did was loosen the frame mount bushings, turned the wheel-pounded out the factory ones and lifted the sway bar off the end link. repeated on the other side- took 30 minutes
