Superlift endlinks, problems!

Hey guys,

My superlift 6" lift endlinks are sitting way too close to the coil spring and hit on occasion.

I thought it was just my truck, but I looked at several ppls. trucks with 6" superlift systems and same thing.

Anyone know what can be done to fix this problem?

Now I hear there is a recall on the pitman arm.

Thanks for any help you can give guys.

Check your pitman arm for the purple paint mark, and follow the info in the thread to get a replacement...

AS for the endlinks, I have the 4.5" kit and mine doesnt rub
My only thought would be aftermarket endlinks, I think Lorenz or BDS or one of the lift companies makes aftermarket end links...

I got sick of my 37's rubbing and made inch spacers seemed toget them away or you can spin the spring to wear the gap with a load on it is at the end link

I can't put on my sway bar because the ends of the bar hit the springs? Does anyone have a fix for this? I'll be calling superlift in the morning. I just found out about it becuase superlift forgot to ship one of the link extensions, and I just got it yesterday and tried to put the bar on today.... it hits the springs big time on both sides???

Can you guys with problems post some pics? It'll be easier to come up with solutions if we can see what's happening.

I've already taken mine off again. If I mount the sway bar up to the frame and try to swing the sway bar down to mount to the link, the end of the sway bar hits the coil spring about half way down. It's almost as if there needs to be a bracket that moves the mounting location of the swaybar (frame mount) forward about an inch. I know some suspension systems (skyjacker I think) used to have drop mounts that move the mount forward and down a few inches.... don't know if any do it for the newer dodges?

Is it the long arm system you installed? Trying to figure out why they would hit.

Mine was hitting my passanger side spring and causing a sqeeking sound. I took the sway bar bracket and hogged out the holes a little bit. worked great, its doesnt hit any more.

Those look good!

I wonder if it would handle different, bar down with OEM endlinks, or, superjunk longer endlinks? Anyone?

Mine do the same thing. It is because superlift retains the factory link and just adds an the extra piece to it. the factory link is a p.o.s. and with the extra stress that is created with the lift they tend to bend. Mine have been touching the coil for a good 6000 miles now with no problems.

They will end up breaking when you put some good stress or articulation on the truck; I can vouch for that.

That's why our sector shaft steering stabilizer has an integral drop-mount for the sway bar... keeps the endlink geometry withing factory spec. It's also always beneficial to install urethane frame mount & endlink bushings for zero deflection.

I wonder if I can rotate the spring? If I spin the spring, the other side should either be higher or lower, making the end link not hit?
