How long to install fass system. for any of yous that tackled it yourself. was it easy? did you drop tank or lift box of truck for the intank pump models? could a guy do it on the driveway in summer or not? a place i know of wants like $700 to install one.

 

you have a 04.5 so unless the dealer installed the "upgraded" fuel pump. If you still have the stock pump on the filter housing. I installed a FASS 95 just the pump in my driveway in about 2 hours but i did take my time.

 

i have the intank upgrade. when i turn key forward i can hear the intank pump buzzing away.making about 5 psi

 

I had the engine mounted LP, I pulled the bed, which makes it alot easier, you wont have to worry about the 1/4 tank empty... It took me like 4 hours to install my AirDog 150, and that was taking our time, puting a few back along the way too....

Check out the thread in the link in my sig. Granted, it was far more of a custom install than you're likely looking for. Mine was over the course of a few days as I had to round up parts in between.
