how do you remove servos and install them
how do you remove 48re trans servos and install them
ok guys i will be doing the trans go kit this weekend and decided that i am going to go with a new servo for the rear and intermediate band. also i want to get the accumulator band strut and anchor. the major question is how do i install these? is there an online manual i can use or do i have to get a chrysler one from somewhere? any info would be great pictures woulld be better.
Ok, you will need to get the apply lever out of the way for the rear band. This requires removing or unbolting and turning the OD unit. Slide the pin out. Compress the spring.
The front band can just be compressed and removed. They both have snap rings. The accumulator just pulls out after the VB is out. There is no accumulator apply lever.
You need a manual! The best is the factory service manual.
