how do i clean gel from injectors?
1st post..hope i'm doing it right....man do i need help....i have a ' 041/2, 2500....i topped off my tank at a shell station with their 20% blended diesel...it had been warm for a couple of weeks then a cold front blew in, the fuel gelled and formed a waxy substance and now my truck runs like a one legged dog...if i put a heating cable on the injector rail will it melt the wax.....will my block heater get my injectors hot enough to clear them?.......or should i just put it in the shop?...i found an additive made by power service to keep it from happining again called biodiesel anti gel...but it won't solve the problem i have now..........any help would be greatly appreciated....the codes showing are 3 injector codes 2 thru 5 and a p 2146, i don't know what it is.............thanks

Try Power Service, Red Bottle, Diesel 911. You could also put an electric heater under your hood for a while and plug in the blockheater. The 911 should take care of things in the tank. A little in the fuel filter and a new filter wouldn't hurt either. Luck
