HO/auto w/ larger rear axle?
When the HO/auto combo comes out, will it be available with the larger 11.5 rear axle or the 10.5 only? Anybody have this info yet? Thanks!
Chris

Would you happen to know what the SO/NV4500 gets - 11.5 or 10.5? I'm not sure whether the 11.5 goes on just HO trucks or just stick shift trucks?

Stopped at the dealer last night, and they told me 11.5 is duallies, and 10.5 is everything SRW. This is not correct, is it?
Chris

No, that isn't correct - 11.5 in all HO diesels for sure. But I dunno if that will apply to the new auto or just the 6 speed.

Thanks, LonCray,
The sales guy was using some little touch-screen vehicle configurator - no build sheets or anything. Anyway, I learned not to trust dealers a long time ago LOL. Thanks again.
Chris

Re:HO/auto w/ larger rear axle?
I have a SO/NV4500 Cal version truck and it has a 11.5" rear axle. I was told all the Diesel trucks get the 11.5, does not matter if it is a 2500 or 3500 SRW or DRW. You would only get the 10.5" axle if it is a gasser. At least thats what I was told and what I saw on 20+ trucks, some hemi's and most diesel on the lot here.

jsr21,

I forget to mention that on the CTD 2500's w/auto trans they had the 10.5" rear axle, 4x4 or 2x4. Not sure why DC did it this way.

Pappyman,

Santa Rosa Dodge and Eposti Dodge, two dealers within 15 minutes of each other here in N.California. Hey Pappyman,
I have over 50 HD Rams in inventory, and about 10 new coming in every week. Come on down from Georgia (congrats to the Bulldogs by-the-way) and see me in the Great State of Texas!
