Helpful tip
Truck has almost 70k on it. Decided it was time to change out the serpentine belt. I called 3 car parts places and no one had them. Will have to be ordered. Dealer may have it on hand but not open on the weekend. I will change out my belt and carry the old one in the toolbox. If you break one on the weekend you may have to wait a few days to get going again. Keep a spare handy!
BTW they run about $55

Good tip.
I didn't install my exhaust brake (Jacobs) until I had a spare belt that worked with the vacuum pump. I could just see myself in some jerkwater town explaining to the gap-toothed mouth-breather behind the parts counter that I needed a belt that worked with an e-brake.
