Hey Guys, just got my first Dodge, 1st Diesel, 1st Duallie. Don't kill me, but always been a Blue Oval 1/2 ton guy. Think this truck'll make me a convert though. Got a couple of questions that hope ya'll can help with.

1. How much tire pressure are you DRW guys running for the best ride; when not towing of course.
2. Are most of you using Rotella; seems like it.
3. It appears that many guys in another forum are not running oiled air filters of any kind because it will void our warranty. Any validity to this?
4. I'm not into the speed thing like I used to be, but I plan to pull a 11K 5'er once a month (100-1500 miles RT); what's a good chip/module/programmer to give me the best fuel mileage and a little extra UMPH! (Don't wanna start changing turbos, trans, etc.)

5. Oh yeah, ***!! with the 07 headlights on bright?! Dim is as good as my '05 Lariat, but the brights suck! All scattered with no focus. Is it maybe an aiming problem?

I run 60 front 55 rear
I changed to synthetic at 15K
AFE has a new dry filter
Quadzilla or Smarty. Both have great products and customer service.

 

i tow a lot and run 75 f and 80r seems to ride all right but all ive ever ran is a dually rotella i use the afe filter but i like bullydog had some issues with the quad as on my 03, the headlights do need to be reaimed mine were high and with a trailer my dims were like the brights i lowered them and it helped a bunch

 

get the quad and the smarty!
