help..lost power steering and brakes

I need help. I'm on vacation and I just all of a sudden lost my power steering and my brakes are almost non existent.

There are no leaks. When I try to turn the steering wheel it makes a loud hissing noise from the steering box. It is almost impossible to turn the steering wheel.

I'm guessing maybe my steering box went up but that wouldn't explain the lack of brakes....maybe a hydro boost issue?

I tried to do a search on here, but I'm on my phone and for some reason it won't let me search......please guys give me some guidance here...I'm 4 hrs from home with limited tools

Brakes and power steering at the same time???? You need a new hydroboost.

sounds like low on powers steering fluid, or pump went out.

Second on hydroboost. check the top line with the weight on it. Take it loose at the brakes. There is a teflon liner in the hose that can break loose and travel into the brakes. When mine let go, both steering and brakes were affected.
