Help!!! blue smoke on a CR

Hey everyone
We installed o-rings, new set of twins 62/71/13 & s400 and Flux 4 injectors, and a new 24v 2nd gen headgasket, retorqued the studs to 125 lb/tq went for a test drive and about one mile on the road the check gauges light came on and the engine coolant was hot at 210 degrees, we let it cool off again and didnt had any more problems, after driving like 23 miles the same happened again and now the truck smokes light blue or gray when driving, but it idles 100%, what could the problem be? headgasket? bad Turbo?

if it smells sweet than you have a o-ring or headgaket leaking. I would think the high temp came from a air lock in the coolant passage. time to pull the head again I would think

Yeah check your headgasket, sounds like that sweet smell is coolant. Have you checked your oil yet?

Just to make clear, we are talking bout the same truck here...
I checked oil right after that. the coolant too. Oil was at safe. but a little on the lower half.

maybe the exhaust does smell like coolant. i know the coolant the trucks got smells sweet. could that be? where at the gasket would the problem be? Dang I DIDNT WANT TO take off the head again.

the Smoke seemed to have disapeared after i had the truck sitting for a while/

And yeah i had air in the coolant passage, i removed the heater hose on top of the head and filled radiator with water till water came out of the tube, reinstalled, and it seemed to run cool.
Today it overheated again, so i did the same thing again, and no problems afterwards.

Well if it keeps happening it could be the sealing of the gasket between the cylinders, I know they're prone to blow out.

Just pulled the head off, half hour ago, i dont know what to look for. The 2nd Gen (24valve) head gasket we had put on there, is all damaged now that we took the head off. it bent too, while pulling it off.

Anyway before that we had done some testing: while the truck was ideling air bubbles came out of the radiator with the radiator cap off. That made me think compression from the cylinder was pushed into the water passage. causing the thermostat not to work quiete right and to all of asudden over heat all the way, on red. and then all of a sudden it would go back to 3/4...

what should i do, look for. What i noticed, whoever did the orings, on one cylinder the oring's end dont reach together, theres a little part where theres a groove, but no oring, like 1/8 inch

what gasket should i use? if a 2nd gen, does it need to be modified anywhere?

Please help anyone...
