Have stock stall speeds changed?
Have stock stall speeds changed?
Hi all,
I just took delivery of my new '06 about a week ago. One thing I've noticed is that rpm just driving around town is about 2-300 rpm lower than the two 04.5's I have had. All three trucks have 3.73's, and all are 4x4's. One of the 04.5's was a 2500, and the other was a dually. Both of those would have the engine just lazing around 1800 rpm in city driving, wasting the hell out of some fuel. The new truck seems to hang out more around 1500-1600. Anyone else notice this?
