So for the past few weeks my truck has had a hard start. It only does it in the mornings, and it will do it almost every other day. Temps have only been in the mid 60's here lately. There is no smoke at start up, and the truck runs and has plenty of power. On the mornings when it does not act up, the truck will start immediately. But on other days it takes a few revolutions before the truck will start. I have 59,000 miles on it. Does anyone have any ideas? Injectors? Lift pump? All help would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

injectors i think would tend to smoke at start up if they were leaking down. maybe a FCA going? blow by maybe??

 

Blow by seems to be normal, and the oil level is not rising. Any other ideas on what to check?

 

grid heaters?? make sure the relays are working. there on the pass. battery
