Hard morning start?

My 04 does not want to start in the morning. I have to turn the motor over for over 10 sec to get it to fire. Once it does there is no smoke. Runs great all day. It will fire up easy the rest of the day. Wondering if my preheat is working properly? Any tips on how to check that?

thanks
kris

its not your preheat, more then likely your starting to show signs of injector bleed off.

sounds like a bad injector or 2....... have had this happen multiple times and it always turned out to be injector related.
