Going to the shop...
Hey guys,
Well I've had my 06 for 4 months and put on 13,000 miles and today when I was on my home from Boston I noticed that I lost some power and I used way to much fuel. When I got out of the truck I could smell raw fuel in a big way! Sure enough the crank case is full of fuel and oil. So now it needs to go to the shop and hopefully get some new injectors. I hate when my trucks in the shop! Hopefully I get her back soon!
As far as symptoms goes I did have a pretty good injector tic for a couple of weeks. Funny thing the dealer said it didn't sound like an injector to him. He was sure it was the way that all (CUMMINGS) sounded!

I had an injector nozzle leaking on me. No noise, but it would smoke pretty bad when I got on the throttle. It ended up melting my #3 piston and both intake valves on that cylinder. Take leaking injectors very serious, or it will cost you an engine.
