Getting my truck flashed, I have questions.

Just got my truck about a month ago, (got it from a different state than where I live) and made an appointment to have all the updates done(I don't know what has or hasn't been done) and just wondering if there is anything I should be concerned about??

I just read a few threads that claim there trucks run worse or get poorer fuel mileage, and right now it seems to be just running fine.

There is an flash that I do want and it is the one where you can idle your truck up with the cruise control.

Any comments would be great. Thanks.

For the fast idle you do not need a flash, you just need the dealer to enable it. Also you need to decide if you want the Park revense flash done, think it is the E-17 flash. When door is open causes horn to honk and lights to flash or something like that. Do a search for fast idle enable and ignore the flash part, newer trucks have it just need it enables and the directions are on this site.

Park reverse horn

Too late for me on the reverse park flash. I just read about it today, tried it on my truck and sure enough it has been done. Doesn't really bother me though.
