Gear Vendors OD

Would like to know if anyone is running a Gear vendor over drive. Is it worth the $$$ ? Does it help with towing and the big question is fuel mileage, or will I have to drive it 2 million miles to break even on the cost.

Yes if you expect gas savings to pay for it. I dont think its worth the money. My 06 with auto has no problem getting a 12k trailer up to speed and I tow in overdrive no problem. With 3.73 gears. If I could tow in overdrive with the gear vender I dought the milage would be better.Plus it would put more stress on the trans. Plus you got another gear box to contend with . Only milage gain would be running empty.

I think there would be a mileage gain if you were running lower speeds in terrain that would not allow you to effectively run in low rpms.
