Gear Oil - Diff Carriers

I wanted to confirm the quantity and type oil for front and rear diffs on Dodge 2005 - 3500 truck. Typical GCVW is 18,000 - 20,000 lbs
How many quarts per front and rear?

Looking at 75W140 Redline GL-5 synth. oil.

Any comments appreaciated.

THanks

I think the recommended oil for the front is 75w90. I run it in both front and rear.

If you pull heavy like you do, DC says you can run 75w140 in the rear.

Any GL 5 Synthetic oil is fine. Personally, I run Mobil 1 75w90. I have no doubt that Redline is excellent. Lots of guys on here run it.

Sorry I am not exactly sure on the quantities. I just buy plenty and what I don't use goes on the shelf till next time. Also, I added a Mag-Hytec rear differential cover so it holds more than stock.
