Uinified Carrier Registration . Private carriers must register

If you are a private carrier with a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. GVWR doing interstate business you must register with UCR which replaces the SSR . These regulations are being enforced now . Scroll down to section I page 10 for specific info .

I sinced up last month. I think it's just another way for the feds to get more money out of us.

Yeah the private carriers don't like it but the carriers with authority like it because it costs them less than the SSR did . Supposedly the same amount of money is going to be collected but charging the private carriers brings the cost down to others .

i singed it last month and im a for hire service. its cheap and easy. i had my first safty audit the week before thanksgiving and he told me to make sure you have a copy of the reciept in your truck or its your rear. so heads up to all at the first of the year when they start the crack down
