Question Car Carriers

Traveling alot lately up and down I-95, I notice lots of pickups pulling three car trailers with what seems to be used cars from autions or dealers etc. That got me wondering where are they going, how much are they making and where can I get some information about the whole car carrier business. Does anyone here do it or know someone that does? Is it a good paying business to get into? I recently retired from my job and have lots of time on my side now so can anyone chime in with some answers?

Thanks for the help.

Really...and how do you get started? I see you are doing it but is it possible to do it with a SRW truck?? I have seen a few pulling two cars or three smaller cars. Are the trailers supplied by the shipper or are they owned by the trucker? Sorry for all the ?? but you seem to know the answers. Thanks again.

If time is on your side you've got a good start. Check out www.hotshothauling.com or maybe my website http://xj.cdevco.net (a little out of date at this point).

There are at least a few guys hauling 3+ cars on this board...
